Jnana Cooper is a founding member of WBTT and has played many roles throughout the years with the company, in shows ranging from Motown '60s Review, Sistas in the Name of Soul and Ain't Misbehavin' to Dynamic Duets of the '70s, and Songbirds of the '70s. Jnana has performed in a variety of regional theaters, including Phoenix Black Theatre Company as well as Tennessee's Cumberland County Playhouse's productions of South Pacific, Crowns and Hairspray. She and her husband were blessed with a baby girl in December 2011. Currently, Jnana resides in Michigan where she is a preschool teacher.
