BRIAN L. BOYD was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He studied the art of theatre performance at Florida A&M University. His regional theatre credits include: Smokey Joe's Cafe (Ken), Black Nativity (Chief Priest, Dance Ensemble) and Motones vs Jerseys (Motone 3) as well as WBTT’s How I Got Over: A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson (Narrator) and Dearly Departed (Bud/Ray-Bud). Some of his educational credits include Detroit '67 (Sly), The Color Purple (Harpo), Five Guys Named Moe (Nomax), and The Mountaintop (Martin Luther King Jr. u/s).
