ASHLEY D. BROOKS is a native of Tallahassee, Fla. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a B.S. in Theatre. She’s no stranger to the stage with performances in Blues for an Alabama Sky, Change it up! Ascension Homage to Dr. Maya Angelou, Fake Friends, Real Enemies, Black Nativity, The Colored Museum, Hairspray, and The Color Purple, just to name a few. She has appeared in WBTT’s The Sam Cooke Story (Barbara Cooke) and was most recently in The Wiz. Ashley would like to thank her family and friends for their love, support, and wisdom.
